Extended to Mar. 20 - Call for Art - Young Artists and Authors Showcase

YAAS 2024 THEME:  CLIMATESCAPE: Resilient Cities for Tomorrow's Climate

Scottsdale Sister Cities Association will host the local competition and show at the Scottsdale Civic Center Library April 2-29, 2024. Award winning art & written works will go on display. Cash prizes will be awarded for 1st - 5th place. 1st & 2nd Place Winners will be advanced to the International Competition (digitally). Congratulations to Diana Lopez  who won 1st Place for both local ($250), and Sister City International ($1,000) Competitions for her artwork, “For the Future.”  Here is a link to the international page that showcases her art https://yaas2024.org/

Students may enter through participating teachers or individually through SSCA. Deadline for entries: March 6, 2024. Artwork does not need to be matted or framed. Written work may be entered by email. Attached is the YAAS Entry Form & Guide with more information.
