SSCA has a long history with McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park beginning with the building of the bandstand in the style of one in Sister City Alamos, Mexico, and continuing with the addition of an official train clock in honor of Sister City Interlaken, Switzerland. Visiting exchange students from Sister City Uasin Gishu have also planted trees at the park close to a tree from Cairns, Australia.
