"We're Going Places" is the theme for the 2017 Young Artist and Author's Competition.
SSCA received 34 submissions, that were evaluated by local art specialists the submissions and made awards for first, second, third places and honorable mention works. SSCA’s first place art work will now be sent to compete in the 2017 Sister Cities International’s 2017 Young Artist and Authors competition. Submissions will be juried this spring, and selected finalists will be included in a traveling exhibit that will tour the US for one year.

The art works are on display at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts through Feb. 19th.
