The opening reception for two Kingston art exhibits at the Mustang library was held on Canada Day, July 1. Student artwork from an exchange with art teacher Karen Pepperkorn in Kingston and photography by SSCA liaison Sandy Berg is on display till mid-October. It was a wonderful event attended by SSCA members and community guests. Glen Williamson, The Honorary Consul of Canada for Arizona, gave a wonderful speech about the Canadian community here in Arizona and all of the partnerships we have with Canada. Greetings were extended by SSCA President Donna Hartz, the library board, and The Scottsdale Artists School. Read more at the Scottsdale Independent newspaper here.
