December 11th was the perfect day for an afternoon garden party listening to the tunes of Doc Jones, with none other than Jesse McGuire sitting in on trumpet. Sixty SSCA members started off their holiday and mingled with each other after not having seen each other for months or even two years. Great appetizers and later dinner was served at the home of Past President, Kathy George, in Paradise Valley. Dick Neuheisel presented Kathy George with the Volunteer of the Year Award from Arizona Sister Cities. Dick said she received the award for her dynamic personality and tireless efforts in promoting sister cities locally and state-wide.
